Intermediate Sewing Pattern for a Cushion/Pillow with a book pocket!
 
A lovely make for a growing child or even yourself! 
 
I vividly remember having to wear my new glasses in school for the first time (wondering if anyone had noticed or might say something!) and when a friend’s 5-year-old daughter recently got her first pair the Bunny Reading Cushion idea was born. I am an avid reader - and whilst in the USA as a Preschool teacher my class firm favorite was - The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams Bianco. So, for me this project joins the dots and making it for her was pure indulgence!
 
The cushion finishes at around 20” square and is quilted. The cushion features tactile 3D ears, a hand embroidered face, fusible applique throughout and has an envelope back. There is a “boy” and “girl” version and a nice large pocket with a magnetic snap for your book!
 
This is a 16-page Designer PDF Download Pattern. The pattern also has 19 full colour process photographs, step by step instructions and full-size templates.
